I don't know if it is getting back to work on a Monday and trying to catch up or still flying high from the win in Jacksonville, but, man, has today been a crazy morning. Posting may be light today, but we'll get into the nitty gritty of Georgia-Florida and the Dawgs' homecoming match-up against New Mexico State this week.

Good morning, Dawg fans! I hope everyone was safe last night but enjoyed the victory!
Hey, it wasn't pretty and there are a lot of things we need to work on, BUT, we WON!!!! Against Florida, in Jacksonville, I will take it any day of the week! All that matters in this game is who gets the "W." We will have all week and next week to work on and get our problems fixed... today, however, we will enjoy this victory.
I don't have to check out until 12:00, so I'm just going to give you all some reading material for this morning:

It is a wet and wonderful morning here in Jacksonville, FL. The rain has arrived this morning, but is supposed to be out of here in the next hour or so - leaving up with sunny skies, a high of 70, and 10-20mph winds today - GREAT! Gotta love kicking next to the river in Jax!

I have just a ton of work to do before I head down to Jax today, so I'm going to do an abbreviated preview on some key match-ups from the top down as to how I feel like the game will unfold. For this preview, I am going to assume John Brantley is willing and able to play. If he is not, Georgia should win the game big - but, we'll see.

Alright people... time to get in the spirit. I am less than 2 hours away from getting off work and being in full blown HATE-FLORIDA mode! Just in case you were not in the same mood, I'm going to share some pictures that might get you in the right frame of mind!
Remember the timeout??? Richt does...

This weekend, two teams will take the field in a match-up that pits big-time QB's against one another. One QB comes into the game limping after losing a few in a row, while the other has taken back over his team. One team may have all of the weapons, but the other has the leadership and a will to win...
No, I'm not talking about Georgia vs. Florida... I'm talking about the Detroit Lions vs. the Denver Broncos. Just how crazy is it that Stafford and Tebow will square off against one another the same weekend that Georgia takes on Florida in the annual cocktail party?

Alright, Georgia fans, you're excited! You're heading down to Jacksonville for your first ever Georgia-Florida game! Great! However, there are some things (people) you need to know before you head down to the Florida border. Florida fans are a funny bunch and can be somewhat complicated to understand. Therefore, with the help of the graphics from the Anti-Orange page, I decided to give you a guide to the Florida fans.

I typically stay away from posts about the future of Mark Richt. Reason being is that I know there is a big group who absolutely love Richt and want him here, another group who absolutely hate Richt and want him gone, and a big group who are indifferent and just want to win. I know you readers fall in a variety of those groups, and I don't want to alienate you all with my opinions. As I have done since I've started this blog, I don't give you a ton of opinion without facts and examples to go along with it. However, you cannot ignore how big Saturday's game vs.

Last week, a few sites published a new clip from the movie, 1980 Dawgs - The Inside Story of The National Championship Season, which tells the story of the 1980 Georgia football team that went on to go undefeated and win the National Championship with a win over Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl. The movie, which is getting great reviews from many Georgia fans, was just released last week, and can be ordered through their web site, 1980dawgs.com.
