Alrighty Dawg fans, how are you doing on your bowl picks? If you've been following along with The Blawg House, you should be winning your pool because you should be 12-2!
Florida State's victory over Notre Dame and Baylor's win over Washington put us on a big 10-game streak. So, with 4 games on Friday, hopefully we can go 4-0 and give you some good cushion going into the 1/2 way point for your bowl pool.

Ok, peeps, are you following along? You should be. After the Toledo squeeker and Texas' victory, The Blawg House picks are standing at 10-2. If stupid FIU and SDSU won (like they definitely should have), we'd be at 12-0. But, in these bowls, I'll take 10-2.

So, if you aren't following me on Twitter, you didn't get my pick for the Mizzou/UNC game (Mizzou) and - because of internet - I wasn't able to post my picks for the NC State and Purdue games. However, if you are following me, you'll notice my bowl pick'em record is now up to 8-2 after that rocky 2-2 start.
Not bad.
However, some of those games were quite easy to pick. The next few games will be a little tougher, so here are my picks on some of the upcoming bowl games.

You know, sometimes, I can't stand bowl games - especially the early games. Trying to pick them is honestly a crap shoot. One team that may look like the lock (FIU) gets beat by a team that just wants it more (Marshall). It is so hard to compare schedules, because, really, the conferences are so different. Another day, another bowl game. Although I usually preview 3-4 per post, I figured I'd give the Beef "O" Brady's Bowl a little more love - since they're playing on my birthday.

Georgia's win vs. Auburn - which came in dominating fashion - gave Georgia the inside track to the SEC Championship and an 8-2 record for the season. After starting out 0-2, not many would have seen Georgia coming back to win 8-games and sitting in a position to capture the SEC East this weekend against Kentucky. At the end of the regular season, Georgia should finish out the season 10-2 with Kentucky being terrible and Georgia Tech being a very average ACC team.

If you didn't notice, Georgia became bowl eligible with their win vs. Florida this past weekend. We took a look earlier in the season at where the Dawgs might end up at the end of the season. With 2/3rds of the season done, we can take a little better guess as to where Georgia might be bowling this season. Here is the list of SEC bowl tie-in's and Georgia's path and chances of getting selected by those bowls.

Again, it is the Vanderbilt week, my mind is fried, and I'm starting to think about the possibility of shorts in January... yes, this is the way too early, shot in the dark, based on where we are and might be later - TBH Bowl Projections for Georgia.
